I'm relatively new to the world of active and adventure travel, but have a passion and enthusiasm for it that can't be beat since I became a travel agent 3 years ago. In August 2018 I was voted Favourite Travel Agent through the Barrie Advance Readers' Choice Awards. I am so thankful to my clients for voting for me.

On my recent trip to Peru and hiking the Inca Trail, I've learned that travel can mean getting off the beaten path and exploring a country's culture while also having physical elements to test ones strength and grit. As you reach the top of Dead Woman's Pass on day 2 of the trail, you're hot, it's hard to breathe because of the altitude but your guide and the people in your group are cheering you on as you reach the top. And you are rewarded with the most amazing views!

One of the best mantras from that hike was "enjoy the journey, just as much as the destination." I love to facilitate that for others. Whether it's hiking on a bucket list trail, cycling through your favourite destination, golfing on a course you've always wanted to, or maybe just taking in the culture and nature of a destination, I love taking the stress out of planning the ultimate vacation and experience for my clients.

Great experience

We were looking for a very specific type of getaway with a small window of time to work with and no time to do any research myself. I reached out to Megan and with a few questions she was able to narrow the search down and provide us with some amazing options to choose from. She was great at providing honest feedback about things that could affect our enjoyment of the holiday and I felt that we were very well informed. We loved our vacation and I know that we would not have found that location if I tried to book it online by myself. Megan’s service didn’t end at travel time, she checked in after we returned to see how everything went. When there was a part of the holiday that didn’t happen as advertised she communicated with the tour agency on our behalf. I felt that she went above and beyond my expectations. Great customer service can be difficult to find these days so when I find it I’m so happy to share with others.

Last minute cancellation turns into Best Trip Ever

We have booked with Megan 3 times now and each trip has been excellent. The first two went very smoothly, from start to finish. No unpleasant surprises and the tips and suggestions Megan gave us were perfect. Our trip this past March was a little different. Air Transat called us 2 days before we were flying out to say that our resort was closed due to a plumbing issue and no water. They worked with Megan and within 10 minutes we were all set at another resort with costs similar to the first one. Other than our initial panic, the trip turned out to be one of our best and we would certainly return to that resort again. Megan's professionalism, attention to detail, and prompt response time make it a pleasure to deal with her and we have already recommended her to family and friends.

The trip of a lifetime!

Megan was prompt and professional at all times. She was patient with us when we changed our minds on things and did research on anything we were interested in to send lots of options. I had an issue with a charge from a hotel after we returned home and she handled it completely for me without question.

great experience

Megan helped our family out from start to finish, even followed up after our trip. Megan even walked us through a issue we had at the airport over the phone, she did an amazing job.
We will definitely be using Megan on our next trip.

What a GREAT agent! Megan is so accomodating and q

Megan is a fantastic agent to work with. She takes the time to understand my family's needs and wants, and gauges her recommendations based on them. She is SUPER FAST in her responses! She manages expectations very well. So accommodating. Always nice to hear from her on our return! Most agents get the booking and that's it.

I have now booked several trips with her and I plan to continue using her in the future.
